135L tank? Very nice. I'd love to have one of those for my LWB L400. Not sure how much space is there yet, but what are the dimensions of your tank? It is a very nice install, the only thing that gives me pause for concern is the sight gauge on the WVO tank. I guarantee I'd rip that off and start dripping WVO everywhere. What about making it come out the side of the tank instead of the bottom?

Ya I was thinking that but this is mainly a daily driver and not a 4x4 crawler, that is what my little diesel '47 jeep willys is for. I will be using this mainly for getting into the backcountry and sleeping in, nothing too extreme.loki wrote:X2Adam wrote:135L tank? Very nice. I'd love to have one of those for my LWB L400. If it is ever an issue I would be able to weld in a new fitting very easily without removing the tank. I could simply TIG one up a ways on the back side since the sight is only for filling purposes and not reading how much I have left. Simple solution that I might get around to doing if I ever have an extra 30 minutes and a little motivation.

Re: not a Deli but WVO non the less
Way to go Andrew!
I got Andrew to weld me 2 tanks and mine have the sight gauge coming from the side wall instead of the bottom so no chances of ripping it off while offroading. I also have my fuel pick up line coming from above like a regular tank with a pick up hose going inside and almost touching the bottom of the tank. That way I won`t risk ripping off the pickup line and if there`s crap in the oil it won`t get sucked down into the line. (I also use a electric pump to more easily move the oil).
Very happy with the result. I could post pictures later on if interested.
Cheers,
David
