I just bought a 92 exceed and was told by ?? that I needed a mitsubishi montero wire harness to render things compatible but the wires are still bass ackwards, no worries things can still be hardwired the old fashioned way. The guys at madman mackay have sorted a few deli's already and i'll post the final bill for a deck, amp, sub, and 2- 6 inch round speakers.
cheers

Breadman,
Could you pst a pic of yor sub. I also have a 10" sub and 1200w amp in a ported box, but it is the size of a beer fridge sitting at the back of the van. I can't picture how yours fits in behind the seat. Thanks.
Daddyman,
The back speakers are 5-1/4" rounds, and the rest are 4 inch. Not sure if you have the Audistage system or not. I replaced all 6 of my speakers with Alpines and the surround effect from the Lazyboy is pretty good.

Hi Breadman,
I was sadly driving around in an 04 montana until...today actually, we pick up the deli from madman mackay around 1 or 2.
I am transplanting a kenwood deck, 4 channel 800 watt kenwood amp (under driver's seat )12 inch infiniti sub with 2 1/2 foot box, going to run cable behind driver along floor (opposite sliding door) to behind 3rd row and probably facing sidways toward pass. side. I still have to discuss with them where the best place would be to put the 6 inchers as I have no clue, however they'll definitely be running off the amp.
Hi James,
I just might go alpine next time my wife cuts me loose with a credit card,
and I don't have the audiostage system.
I bet these make great road trip/camping vehicles, we're going to find out tomorrow, off to saskatchewan...don't ask.
regards, rob

sounds like some pretty rocking delis, pun intended. thanks for all the info. never posted a pic so i will just say it was custom made to fit behind the seat. made a quick template out of cardboard and mounted the amp on the side of the slightly triangular shaped box. fit a strap to it and mounted that to the fish net looking thing that hangs off the back of the drivers seat. sounds great and pounds the seat nicely.
