Calling CCAutos
Hello to anyone who can help me.
I have been trying to get a hold of anyone at CCAutos for several weeks and no-one seems to want to respond to me.
Does anyone know if they are still in business. Are they still selling Delica parts. Are they still alive.
Please if anyone knows anything I am all ears.

Re: Calling CCAutos
It would be best to PM/email them with your request. They are an exceptionally busy shop. If you are looking for parts you might also try PM/email to Rocky Mountain Imports. Of course, you'd have to know what you want before you contact John at RMI...
What are you looking for? There might be others who can help, especially if you are bringing the same models as us here in Canada: 15+ years old diesels. There are some 'gassers' here, but it's mostly the diesel L300s.

Re: Calling CCAutos
Yes indeed,
Put your reason in the title of the mail too.
Generally they are busy, busy and busy.
Good sign for a business, methinks ya?
Having said that,
If I do get an answer when calling CCauto I generally
regard it as a "Lucky Special Moment" and believe it is a
good time to plant crops, buy lottery tickets, set cornerstones on
buildings or conceive super children.
Right on!

Re: Calling CCAutos
Comox Valley Delica has a Maintenance agreement with a licensed repair shop with an excellent rep; Reid's Automotive in Courtenay for Comox Valley Delica owners!

Re: Calling CCAutos
So if I was an aircraft enthusiast would that make me an excellent aircraft maintainer ??Delicaman wrote: Having a 21 year Aircraft maintenance Engineering background in Mechanical and Avionics, Delica care is easy and very interesting. Mitsubishi has made an excellent product. As I retired early from the Aircraft industry, the Delica provides an excellent and exciting challenge. Enthusiast IMO, make better maintainers than Mechanics...
We are Delica owners driven by Enthusiasm not profit. We concentrate our care based on how we would like our own vehicles to be; dependable and in excellent state of repair.
Benn
Anyone want me to maintain their aircraft ??? ...... probably not as I wouldn`t know what I was doing !!!! Would you have an enthusiastic electrician wire your house ?? or maybe an enthusiastic wannabe doctor check out your stomach pains ?? Only BC allows non-licensed mechanics to operate if this were any other province it is ILLEGAL. Check AMVIC (Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council) legislation. This is why there is a licensing program in place, to make sure that the person working on your vehicle is fully qualified to do so.
Also if anyone noticed the previous claim to all Comox Valley Delicas being prepared to our standards THEY ARE NOT . We have had the opportunity to inspect one of these vans and although it was a very nice van asthetically the maintenance has not been done to our standards. Most of the `expensive` repairs were not done but some of the `cheaper` maintenance was.
CCautos name is being used without our permission for the purpose of selling vehicles.
CCautos does not endorse any of Comox Valleys vehicles as prepared to our standards. We only employ licensed mechanics and do not use enthusiasts to repairs vehicles which is why we have the reputation we do and offer 12mth or 20,000km warranty.

Re: Calling CCAutos
Play nice you two.....there is no reason to slag one another. Healthy competition is good. If a shop's quality is not acceptable it will show in due time.

Re: Calling CCAutos
The issue with Benn's approach is that it shouldn't take the mistake of Deli owners taking their Delicas to him instead of CCautos if they are under the impression that the work is of the same caliber. Not trying to blackball his business, but I'd say the sharing of info such as this isn't anti competitive.
