Stoopid question

Post by kb&2dogs »

We can't find any reference to how much oil we need for our 91 Deli (diesel of course) when we change it.

And since I'm asking, how much tranny fluid?

HELP!!

I think you'll find a technical data spec sheet in the downloads section which gives fluid and filter types and volumes.

I looked there and couldn't figure it out, looks like 3.9 but that doesn't sound right to us. Maybe a straight answer would be good

I don't have an exact amount, but I buy two 3.78 l jugs and generally have about half a jug left. I guess that is about 6 l with the filter. The technical data sheets are for gas engines.

It takes 6.5 Liters of Engine oil, the tranny I'm not sure of. If you just drain the pan you don't get all the fluid inside, there is still fluid in the torque converter and some in the rad.

Happy Camping.

Oil for Delica is 6.5 liter when changing oil & filter, Used 15W/40 Chevron delo 400 or Esso 15w/40 oil used by big truck with Turbo diesel, not other thin oil 15/40
Trans Fluid is 3.8 liter when changing the filter & ATF try to used orig Dextron 3 from toyota is better & reasonable price than other local brand, Toyota dextron 3 include some additive in there.i used this ATP for long time for Older jap car & its working great smooth shifthing in transmission. keep your transmission last longer.
