Hello to all, my name is Steve, I am in the UK. Currently I am waiting to hear yes or no from the Canadian immigration authorities! an answer seems to be taking forever,we as a family applied for immigration to Canada in the fall of 2006, submitted all requested documents at the beginning of this year,but,as both the UK and Canadian economy slides,we wait. So you see I do not want to buy a Deli in the UK until we get an answer from the immigration people. At the moment I am trying to find my way around the club website to learn as much about the vehicles and your community. I look forward to emails from anyone, you all seem to be a helpful, happy bunch of guys and gals! Cheers for now,Steve.

Thanks for the Welcome, Konadog. We applied for permanent resident status back in 92 and were accepted. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to come at that time. We have both family and friends in Canada who we look forward to being with ASAP! In the meantime I am enjoying finding my way around the club site and seeing what you all get up to. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with if you go ahead with your trip to the UK while I am still here! After posting my original introduction, we have received instructions from Canadian Immigration to go for medical examinations. We are all very excited right now. We hope to be in Canada some time in 2010 so will still be here in the fall.

I am especially interested in Canada as a whole, once settled I will be looking forward to making trips and exploring as much of Canada as available time will allow, but, the answer I'm sure you are looking for is,... My family and friends are located in southern Ontario, so that's where we will be heading. Any help, support and/or advice will be greatly appreciated.
I gather from the site that there is'nt a great deal going on meet/club wise, so I guess I'm going to have a long drive to meet up with all of you!

Wanted to do that walk for our honeymoon, but the wife wanted to tag along....bummer.
