Hi, have one nice 1994 delica exceed with Low mileage 56k, nice condition, it has winter package, include full service , new tire, radiator, change timing belt & water pump,shocks. 1 yr warrantty or 12,000 kms which ever comes first included & other services. in transit ,very rare to find a nice color & 94 model now a days with this such a low mileage.
this has a water cooled turbo engine.

Is that a factory water cooled turbo, or is that aftermarket?? I haven't heard of any of these coming with water cooled turbos, just wondering if that was an option.

hi, its a factory water cooled turbo. this is updated newer design for this 4D56 engine. not aftermarket. origianl & tested.

To clarify, all delicas have water cooled engines, a water cooled turbo has both an oil feed and a coolant feed line to the turbo, this helps keep the turbo temperatures in check as well as helping to minimize the carbon build up from burnt oil on the bearings after a hot shut down. Which of these things are you referring to; a water cooled engine, or a water cooled turbo?

So that would cause me to assume that all the 4M40s have water cooled turbos as well, am I correct?

just 1994 l300 =water cooled turbo.

Yes all 4M40 engined vehicles have water cooled turbo's.4D56 engine in 1994 model year L300 has water cooled turbo also as well as coolant operated cold start fast idle on fuel pump (no more hand throttle), different glow plug system,different timing and balance shaft belts and different pistons and cylinder head design to pre 1994 modle year L300.

The coolant unit on the injection pump is a wax thermostat used to increase the idle when the engine is cold. That is why there is no hand throttle cable.

On some of the Toyotas, these have been problematic and get removed or replaced.
