should the batteries be coupled?

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

this is probably a dumb questions, but anyways.
i was just looking at my batteries and noticed the negative terminals are coupled and the positive ones are not. am i missing a wire here or is that the way it's supposed to be?

I'd say look more closely... the positive terminals are almost definitely coupled.

I went to a single starting battery and an isolated rv batt, starts good on the single batt, I just made sure it had some high cranking amps. an rv battis nice to have too, can safley run the sterio with no worries about starting.
