Deli-cious Camping

Post by Geoff McNamara »

Hi everyone. My wife Colleen and I enjoy our 91 Starwagon, as I am sure everybody does in here. What's not to like really? Fold the seats down and throw in a double mattress and we are good to go. Lately we have been travelling north of Campbell River with our trusty bible, Back Roads of BC. Cedar Lake was a favourite site two years ago, but we are wondering if others have fav. Deli sites to recommend as we enjoy exploring in "Phoebe" the love bus. I hope all are well, we are in Kye Bay, stop in if you are around the beach.

Happy day! Welcome to the forum - of any pictures of Phoebe and your adventures to share? Glad to hear you love her - I'm with you "what's not to like?" No kidding. Just this morning on our drive to work Hazelnut broke a silence with "I just can see ever wanting to drive anything else!" - I heartily agreed with her :-D

HI Konadog

I have some photos posted in the album section, under my name of course. I mention the same silence breaking epiphany damn near monthly while cruising in our Delica. Across the country and back, the van has been pure magic. Recently I fell in love with it again when Colleen and I made our way from Cumberland,(Comox Lake) to Port Alberni via the back roads. Of course exploring occurred and we found some pretty fun lakes. I will attach a couple of those now also. Are you in the Comox Valley?
