New Owner: '93 Super Exceed - a couple of questions

Glad to see this forum. I have had my Pajero for a couple of months now and it is fantastic.

I would like to change out the stereo and wondering if anyone has done it and how difficult it was to do it yourself. Also, can you buy the wireing harness for it - perhaps use a Montaro?

Has anyone ever added cruise control?

The stereo is as straight forward as any vehicle available here. A montero harness adaptor would work, I believe an eagle talon one would work as well (around the same year) and would be easier to find in Canada. I just wired mine straight in though.

I think the dodge colt adapter works for the delis, I would venture to guess it is the same for the paj.

Hi there,

I was on the same dilemma few weeks back. I did found a harness for 95 Mitsubishi and up and it worked perfectly. Do not get the one for 94 and older it wont fit (there is a 2nd plug). I got mine at futureshop for 15$

I do have a 94 Exceed. Is the Super Exceed equiped with leather with abs?

When I did my stereo, I used the harness that came with the deck that I bought. I can´t think of any situation where you would have to actually buy a specific harness, as long as it matches the deck. As long as you know which wire is power, you can pretty much do trial and error to figure out which wire goes to which speaker.

Unless of course, you have some kind of strange problem that I am unaware of.

Ryan, yes the super exceed comes with ABS and leather. So far this thing has been amazing. Just took the family on a 1000 mile road trip and it didn't dissapoint.
