Hello everyone,
I've just recently moved to Vancouver and while deciding what form of transport to get was tuned in to the Delica by one that was regularly parked outside our first temporary apartment in North Van over on West 3rd, every week it was either covered in mud or sparkling clean and looking like it'd had some interesting adventures, one quick search on youtube hooked me right in!
I probably should have found this site and done some research before jumping in and buying one, but you know what they say "He who dares" and the Delica is undoubtedly perfect for our adventures.
I'll now start my search for Ladders, Roof Racks, a Bike Rack and look into learning some basic maintenance skills :)....
....The adventure begins here!

Welcome to the Shore.
I think the Deli you saw was our friend who keeps racking up the tickets due to his inability to squeeze into the underground parking. How about some interior shots?

Re: Introducing - Dorris GLX
Just got Dorris back from CVI Autos in Richmond for the "Delica tune" after reading lots on this site and she's running like a dream, highly recommended! after chatting with Butch he informs me that the "expensive" timing belt was pretty new which was lucky for me as I totally jumped in both feet with this purchase, but I'm pretty happy so far :) having owned a VW Bay camper back in the UK I'm totally at home with the driving position and RHD... its just the small matter of driving on the right I need to get used to ;)
Here's some interior shots, they're not particularly interesting, I'm keeping the original radio and going to look into hacking it into working, I don't think I could bring myself to install some flashy thing in there, the old one fits in so well :) maybe I could use the old radio front as a lid and theft deterrent covering the new radio... Oh and I do have the headrests for the rear, I'd just taken them off as we had to get some crap in from Ikea... now all we need to do is go on some real adventures, and take off that knackered rear window tint without breaking the defroster ;)
