Hello. My name is Jeff and i'm a Deli-haulic. I live in Calgary, Ab. I have been addicted to Deli's for quite some time, but have gotten by in the past by looking at other peoples, and driving them nuts with questions. Good/Bad news is, I have gone hard core and purchased a '92 Exceed
from a BC owner who was flying back to Australia from Calgary, and this was her last stop on a cross Canada tour with the bus. Please be patient with me in the support groups (forums) as I know I have a lot to learn about my addiction, and will spend a lot of time working on it to make it better. Hope to chat, and meet with you all!

So, do you have the van now? Or are you still waiting the Oz to depart? That's so cool, because if it was who I think it was, then everything worked out fine for them.
Regardless, welcome aboard. And well met! Don't worry, it takes about a year for most of the "Hey, what about this thing..." questions to work their way out of your system. We've all been there. This isn't just a forum, it's a support group, too. A sort of 'DA', only we all have names. But then, so do the other groups: "Hello, my name is Paul and I drive a Delica."
I'm wondering how much longer before critical mass is reached in Calgary. With the addition of you, it must be getting close!

wow a year and you got it all figured out? I've had my van for a year and a half now and I just figured out yesterday that the rear bench seat not only folds flat, it also folds forward against the middle seats. Its freakin amazing!!!!

Re: New Deli opens in Calgary!
Stumbled on to it on Friday the 23 hidden in the back of the used lot at a Mitsu dealership close to the airport. Picked it up on Wed the 28th.
Never got to meet the actual owner, because i'm sure the used lot wasn't done using her for their personal gain. I bought it from them on an as is where is basis, so the price was good, I just hope she didn't get bent over to bad!
Seems pretty solid, just the normal wear and tear stuff. My kid's think it's great, they spent all day yesterday riding around in it with the rear captains spun backwards laughing like idiots. Normal for them.

If it is, should be a good pick up
Welcome to the club - I think I'll have been lurking at least a year prior to getting a Deli!

You can also fold it flat and then up, creating an upholstered bulkhead, as it were. If you have the bench seat in the middle ~ did you know that the seat back can be set up so it is facing forward or back (it's why there are two sets of seat belts)?SquamptonRyan wrote:wow a year and you got it all figured out? When I read the thread title I thought that Calgary got a new tandoori restaurant.
