oil filters
Is there a north american oil filter that will fit my 2.5L Pajero that I can get from an autoparts store, or is this something that has to come from Japan?

Best - Baldwin BD28 (Union Tractor, Traction, Peterbuilt, etc)
Good - Wix 51067 ~ Napa 1067 (Available at NAPA, and other Wix Retailers)
Bad - FRAM-PH6355 (I would not recommend it)

Re: oil filters
Mardy, are you using the 4d56 filters for your 4m40 customers too? I did an oil change on my new truck yesterday (2.8L), and used a filter (Wix 51067) I had left over from my 2.5L. It fits, although the can is slightly shorter. Do you bring in a different filter, or use the same one?
Cheers
Phil

Re: oil filters
You can't loose with either although Baldwin has a reputation of being the best in the diesel industry. Just avoid the Frams.normaltype wrote:Thanks!! Price-wise, is it worth it to go Baldwin or Wix/Napa?jfarsang wrote:Best - Baldwin BD28 (Union Tractor, Traction, Peterbuilt, etc)

Anyways, good info to know if I'm travelling and don't have a filter handy.
