Our "New" Ride

Post by Andrei »

Picked up our new 93 Super Exceed from Mardy 2 weeks ago and we couldn't be happier! :-D

Mardy is the measuring stick that all car salesmen should be measured against! His attitude and helpfulness are the best that I have ever seen! (I'll stop gushing now)

Our Delica (still un-named) is great! Everything works like new. Starting up in the morning in the cold has been trouble free. I forgot to plug in the block heater the night before last and even in the sub zero morning we had no trouble getting her started!!

The kids love the new ride, and the fact that they get their own seats. We had Vader Speed and Sound install a new deck and speakers (that we actually bought somewhere else) for us and you can't tell that they had the back panels apart so I would recommend them to anyone.

We are getting used to driving on the right side of the vehicle, it was only a little strange when I would have to switch from our Delica to our Xterra.

I have been posting the odd question here and there in this forum since the summer so hopefully I'm "up to speed" on what to expect with our new baby.

We are getting ready to drive to the Courtenay area on the Island next week and are looking forward to all of the extra space that we have in our new ride.

I did have a couple of questions;

Where is the temerature sensor for the internal and external thermometer located?

The horn has a habit of sticking, I felt a screwhole underneath the steering wheel, do I need to remove this screw berfoe trying to pry off the horn cover??

I'll post some pictures in the next few days!

Exstatic with our Delica!!! :-D :-D :-D

Well done, can't go wrong with Mardy!

Your interior temp. sensor is under the steering column at knew level (if faces your driver's seat). Outside one, no idea! And yes you need to remove that small screw to remove the rectangular "horn" cover.

Good timing to get a Delica... Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

The external temperature sensor is located in behind the front bumper . Outside but away from the air flow whilst travelling .
