Greetings from Victoria

... the city, NOT the former monarch. We picked up a '92 Chamonix from Five Star a couple of weeks ago. Love driving it! The website and the community are great... already picked up some useful information. Looking forward to some snow next month.

Greetings to you also, and welcome. Always good to have another join the ranks here in the capital. Browse and learn, use the search function (it will save you from cheeky responses), and ask questions or post your comments.

As for snow, how long have you lived in Victoria? You realise of course you generally have to go to higher elevations to get snow in Victoria. Except for that one winter of 1996 - now that was some snow!

Are you thinking of coming to the meet we are planning for in a couple of weeks? Check out this link: http://www.delica.ca/forum/vica-delican ... -4089.html. Make your vote and I'll be announcing the chosen date early next week. Hope to see you there.

Have you named your van? We all do it...

I'm in for the 13th, as well. Thanks for the invitation.

As for the snow, I was referring to the interior over Xmas. But a trial dump here in a week or so would be okay, too. Just for a couple of days. We were here in '96, but actually in India when the snow fell (I think I prefer the tiger story to one about shovelling snow, though).

And, no, no name. Sorry to buck the trend, but I can't bring myself to do it. It's a little generic, but we just call it "the van" (oh, but affectionately!)

'Tis indeed, Jon. Faye heard that you'd just got a Super Exceed. Too bad you can't make it Saturday.

No but Sandra might be able to head out, or we can have our own coffee meet?

Good. Maybe we'll see Sandra then, and yes to more coffee and Delicas later.
