David, Tardis, Falco, et al
I have picked up an overtime shift for Saturday so unfortunately I can't make it for the camping. If you're closer to the Southern end of Harrison Sunday I may make it out. If not, have a good time and I'll see you all next time.

Okay Sergiy,Profister wrote:Hi All,
What is the ETA to Sasquatch Inn? I prefer to join the squad there. If you can give me the take-off time from Princess Auto I can figure it out.
Thanks,
Sergiy.
I figure it at 79.4 kilometres, at an average of 60 KmH works out to an hour and an half. Next is the traffic; then there is the "herding of cats" aspect as Jay would put it; so assuming that we leave around 09:00 ~ 09:30 I am figuring that we arrive at the Sasquatch Inn between 11:00 ~ 11:30hrs.

Thanks Falco,
We say 'herding a goat' and what we say about a cat I will tell you privately
.
11:30 is what I thought. I need to make a couple of stops on the way, so it works for me perfectly.
See you all tomorrow!

Golf cart, Tomanique,
Too bad you can't make it! It's ok, we'll have fun for you guys. And don't worry, I personally can't wait for some winter camping so this is not the last trip before next spring!
As for tarp I think we should be fine, I'll have one or two for sure... with all that wet stuff coming our way!

Hoooray!!!
Let's start it! While Falco and Delicat are still having great wet/soaking time at Sloquet HS we can take a look at how it started. The arrival of the main group to the Sasquatch Inn parking lot was impressive: we witnessed a really stylish landing. Forget about rules and regulations! Delica's rule!

Warming up the engines and the audience. Slowly but steadily. I just do not want to run ahead of others. Come on guys, throw the pictures in! I am sure Falco will entertain us with a story later.

Re: Lower Mainland crew, Camping Nov. 1st
It was a great trip guys. No creek, mud, slippery rocks, flooded streets and potholes could stop us.
Looking forward to the next Deli meet.

Re: Lower Mainland crew, Camping Nov. 1st
Sunday morning started soaking wet but on the way to Pemberton we were lucky enough to catch some sunshine.

Re: Lower Mainland crew, Camping Nov. 1st
Ok, we're back as well and had a great time!
The first part of the trip was great for the really hot spring followed by a dips into the ice cold river as well as the nice convoy and scenery. Here's a few pictures at the campsite and the great company:
Falco the happy camper Our TardisDeli family The Profister connection And our newest members!
The second part of the trip was even better 'cause it involved some challenging driving and discovering a new part of BC (for me anyway)... We made our way to Gold Bridge. It's about 1 to 1.5hr from Pemberton on FSR going over a pass and amazing views. (And not so amazing potholes). Some of the trails we took were probably designed for quads and ATV but not for your typical truck. They involved some tight switchback and very steep climbs. I think the pictures will talk on their own: Ok, it's just a tease! The actual pictures are in the next post... we're being limited, what can I say!
