BCDelica's old solid colour bus in Campbell River?

First saw it a few days ago following us as we went down the Dogwood / Elm hill. Just a glimpse though. This morning as we were heading south on Dogwood the same solid gold-ish, old school headlamps and black bash-bars was turning south off of MacPhedren on to Dogwood. The woman driving didn't see us, or at least never waved back... Anyway, I've never seen your old bus in person BCDelica, just a few pictures here, but I betcha it's the same bus and that it lives here in CR now - If I am right, it's kinda like spotting a celebrity!

you did see bcdelicas old bus.

mine and my wife's oldest friends bought it. they missed his "work" van and made sure not to miss buying the golden one.
the driver's husband is in CR taking a course for 6 months. theyre good peeps, make sure to introduce yourself to them!

Cool! we'll watch for a chance to introduce ourselves - after oil, are your friends ever on the forum? Lots of delicas in CR but you'd never know it from the skinny level of participation here...

We do generally get waves though, so that's good anyway. Oh, and we did have a very nice dinner with Paddlequest Dave and Kris the other night - simply from seeing them parked in their bus and riding over to say hello. Great people. Kevin, if I do get to meet your old bus in person I'll be sure and let her know you miss her (him - niether?)

Yes it's true, the Delica that's been (and still is)on Canadian roads the longest now resides in Campbell River. Its proud new owners are Amanda and Dillon along with kids Sage ,4 and Reed, 15 months. As after oil said we will be here for the winter before returning to our home at the terminus of hwy 101 otherwise known as Lund B.C. We used to drive VW vans- should have caught on faster to the Delica community. Seen a few friendly waves, but also been left hanging. We'd never intentionally not return a wave!

Hey, there you are! We have spotted you twice since that 1st. post. The last time was just the other day as you were heading towards the beach on Miracle Beach Road and we were just about at the Hwy. heading the other way. You saw us that time and we got a nice big smile and a wave! Hope to see you parked sometime so we can say hello in person and get a close look-see at the famous bus. See ya around
