RMI,
I wonder if you have these small transmission mounts. I was looking for them since I replaced the rear ones and I was told that nobody had them.

Those small mounts only come with the bar that goes from mount to mount. It is ridiculous, but that is how Mitsubishi sells them. The mounts and bar unit is about $220. I do not stock them as I feel there are too expensive.
Thank you,

John Hamilton

I have some used mounts in stock that are not split but are a short term fix until your mortgage renewal comes through and you can afford new ones !!!!

That's great Glen! Sounds like a plan for now and I will show you the rest of the rubber parts I want to replace.

Damn, not going to make it! Still on the road (Montana). At least two more days of traveling left. Was really looking forward to it too.

Well, that is too bad. Driving your delica in Montana a headin' home is pretty cool though... We'll take lots of pictures and post a good rundown for you and the others that can't get there - See ya at the next meet then. Enjoy the rest of your journey :M :-D

Just got back from the ccautos event - an hour plus drive each way, and today I was plenty happy the AC is working - Ahhhh, nice.
Anyway, I would like to thank ccautos Glen for hosting the event, Rocky Mtn. Imports John for driving up from Sidney, 5-Star for coming by with some delis from their lot, and, of course, all the deli-owners / lovers / addicts... who made the pilgrimage. I very much enjoyed meeting all of you. Love having a day to poke around the parts buses in their various stages of dismantlement and to have Glen there, for hours, patiently fielding questions. There was much sharing of ideas and adventures and even some non-delica related socialising :o though conversations never strayed long away, delicas everywhere you looked, after all! A really, really fun event. Thanks again everyone!
:M :-D

The display table - a mix of the shiny and new and the nasty and broken.

that is funny, I think that rad is mine, and I didn't have any overheating symptoms, pretty scary thought, with all the other issues like no seal on the rad cap and such the temp always read low like most people on the forums report, so I would recommend if your temp it reading close to the C line that you take the rad cap off and look at the top of your rad, drain some fluid if you need to. Remember that the ports at the top will be the LEAST clogged.

We want to say thank you to Glen and all the people we met yesterday in Coombs Country Autos for a pleasant atmosphere and a very interesting day we spent on the island. Here are some pictures that will bring back really good memories about this meet. Thanks a lot and see you again!

Now that I no longer feel weak from the Saturday-night "camping" we enjoyed on Glen's front lawn, I can type once again. I would have been even worse that night if I hadn't been sweating-out most of the alcohol we consumed in the early hours before it finally started to cool off! Holy Frack! Was it warm that day or what?

Excellent time meeting everyone. I'm still amazed at how varied the group of people is who drive these vehicles: gardeners, painters, wood-workers, military, mechanics, teachers, etc (fill in any I missed). As some of you might have gathered, I like to talk with people, and it is nice to talk with those who are NOT military simply because they have so many different and interesting stories (which don't have a military slant to it).

I like the table-of-knowledge: "this is what it should look like, and this is what it will look like if you neglect it". A little knowledge can take you a long way...

I think I piqued TardisDeli's interest in the brake modification, and once Glen and I (and I think John was hunkered down over the two rotors as well) figured out what the advantages to the mod were, it was agreed that unless you're going to be doing a lot of towing or heavy driving (either off-roading or just loaded up) that it's perfectly safe to not spend the money to upgrade your brakes. What with the four kids, our enjoyment of camping, the utility trailer, a roof rack which we use regularly and the camper-trailer, I felt this was worth the money so I spent it.

I also heard some keenly interested mumblings when I whipped out my ShadyBoy - I think I'll start a thread about approaching Wolfgang concerning the possibility for a discount bulk deal. The one thing which might scare some people off from buying one of these shades is that Wolfgang fully intended to mount it directly to the roof - with screws - through the metal - aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I didn't worry about that because I have a rack, but most others don't. The other way to mount it would be to find some brackets which grasp the rain gutter - that would work well, but I wouldn't know where to look for those kinds of clamps (I've seen them, but I can't remember where). BTW thanks to Sergiy for taking those pictures.

It was good to meet John from Rocky Mountain Imports - now I won't have to worry so much about shipping things from the mainland. Thanks, John, for moving back to the Island!

And thank you to Yvonne's parents for KP-duty on the barbeque and drinks.

Anyway, good to see everyone again, and I look forward to the next gathering.

I would like to thank everyone for attending the two `show and tell days` and making the event a success. I would also like to thank John from RMI for taking time from his busy schedule to attend both saturdays and extend to us his expert knowledge of the JDM parts process. I think all that attended have gone away with just a little more knowledge of their vehicles and hopefully I have addressed everyones questions. Due to its success, I will make this the first annual Delica meet/customer appreciation event. Again thanks to everyone involved and I look forward to meeting up again next year at the 2nd annual CCAutos meet.
