Delica Hunting...

Howdy,

I'm hoping the Delica will be "the" vehicle to serve as my escape pod for open road and semi-off road explorations, and be useful in town for utilitarian use.

I'm in Nanaimo, so if anyone has any recommendations for shopping and future servicing, please let me know.

I have a few questions not yet answered in the archives:

- re roof shades on the Crystal Roof version - is there a way to operate these manually if they break down? (I've found the excellent online repairs postings - thanks!)...

- I prefer the rear sliding windows. Has anyone designed a useful screen for these?

- Two dealers nearby include the Lubrico Extended Warranty coverage - anyone had experience with that? Is it useful? It requires me to pay a garage to do regular oil changes but what if I prefer to do my own?

- What should I watch for during shopping? Any rust issues? Do the Air Conditioners last? Are the supplemental instruments worth sweating over if they are not installed (inclinometer, altimeter, in/out temps), other key items of note?
