But I found a place that was good -- did not skip out on or ignore anything, found a few minor bugs to fix, and didn't give any rumors or BS about weird or misinterpreted OOP rules. If anyone in Edmonton is looking for a reliable OOP PM me and I'll pass on the name of the shop.

I went above and beyond the strict requirement anyway, for safety, installing bright new LED side markers and LED high brake light. Wired in a relay for DRL in the steering column, and got new headlights (my Deli is a P25V which takes domestic 6054 headlights, $11, that was nice!)

After seeing how well illuminated the van is compared to before, and some research about accident prevention from fast LED brake lights, I'm glad I did the extra work which amounted to about $50 and a day's work, with no experience ever working on anything automotive. Even if it never prevents an accident, every upgrade and repair I've done myself has taught me a bit more and in the long run it's a lot of money saved to DIY.

why not just post up for all to see? I can't see anyone getting sued over positive comments and free advertising.

Generally speaking I try not to put business names up cold on forums when I'm passing on basic info, good or bad... it can look like there's an ulterior motive, like they're my buddies and I'm falsely advertising or something.

But since you ask, and I'm sure others will want to know sometime, it's K&K on Whyte and 101st in Edmonton. It's my brother in law's joint

.......just kidding. No affiliation.
