Completely Intrigued

Post by GWr »

Hi everyone, i've been a lurker for the last week or so, and I just figured i'd register and say hi. It's such a fun forum. Maybe because of all the great pictures too :-)

We've been toying with the idea of a 2nd vehicle, and at the moment the Delica is such a huge temptation! We've been seeing more & more of them on the roads, and we even know a couple who has one & completly loves it!

I've read almost every page on this forum and it is so full of information. WOW. I've also used the search function a million times almost :-) I just can't seem to find any feedback on the dealership in Richmond, BC. Can anyone give any feedback good or bad? I believe i've seen for sale posts from them, but I haven't seen any discussions to encourage or discourage purchasing from them. I think the name is Maximum Overdrive.

from what i've gathered Mardy is quite popular. I think I already know him. Just from reading the posts I almost want to say ," I highly recommend him", the only problem is I really don't know him (heh heh). Where's his website? I'd love to see it, and find out more about what he has to offer as well.

Anyway, just saying hi, and thought I would let everyone know how much I am enjoying your posts. Cheers!

Mardy is the man as far as I'm concerned. He's a Delica owners best friend. Give him a call or send him a PM. His contact info is all over the forum. Just search Amazing Auto or Mardy or look for Mardydelica.

Good luck in your search for a Delica, they are great vehicles.

Mardy doesn't have a website yet so you'll need to give him a call, 604-720-6144. And yes, a very useful man!

I have to step forward and say my experience with Maximum Overdrive has been an excellent one. I had one issue with the fog lamps not being connected and they had it resolved at CVI motors right away at no charge.
They also Use CVI for all of their compliance work, and as i'm sure you've read, CVI has the best Delica mechanics in the lower mainland, very friendly too!
