Hey, there are a few pieces missing/broken inside my van and I was wondering if there is anywhere to get replacement parts, either from wrecked vans, or if someone out there makes new parts.
I am missing part of the assembly for my jump seat, which means it won't fold down without considerable effort, and it doesn't lock in the up position. I can't get it to fold down unless i have the cover off the assembly on the outside.
I also have a broken window lock. One of the little flat plastic hooks broke off the handle on the window, so it won't lock.
My passenger front seatbelt was broken frmo my friend slamming it in the door too many times. Partly my fault because those snazzy mitsubishi seatbelt covers don't let the belt recoil properly. I basically need a new buckle.
None of these things are urgent, but I would like to get them fixed.
My inclinometer or whatever it is called also broke, can you get a new instrument pod anywhere? would the 3 pod one fit where the 2 pod one is?
I am also missing plastic coating the metal handles on some seats and stuff, like the drivers seat is just a bare metal handle to recline it, as well as my middle bench seat. I basically need to rip apart another delica haha.
I am slowly becoming more attached to this ride (not that I wasn't before, but this particular one is being very good to me) and my plan to sell it and get a newer one in a couple years may be going out the window because I want to put a lot into this one now.
Thanks.

Sorry I can't be of much help with your list (I wish I had all the parts you need - but alas I have none of them! :( )
One thing I did find out about recently is the plastic window catches....

When fitting the sliding windows into the Mud Monkey, I noticed that two of the clips/catches were broken. I have since bought replacement parts and the details are as follows:
Plastic clip/catch inner part

One of these had lost its button/lever (not the one shown) so the window wouldn't lock.
Price new from Mitsubishi: £9.59 +VAT each (£11.27) 48hrs from ordering to being in stock.
Plastic clip/catch outer part

When I tried to unscrew the inner part, the lug from the outer part just sheered off!

Price new from Mitsubishi: £6.39 +VAT each (£7.51) 48hrs from ordering to being in stock.
If you are really struggling to find these parts, let me know if you want me to get them for you here and bring them over on the 18th.....
Regards,
Bruce.
