i called one shop (dealer for shocks and off road equipments in North Van), they are not heavy duty, they are gas charged, gas charged don't mean they are heavy duty. you may verify with them. they are selling them for $42 per piece FYI ($168 a set)

you have to order this shock as they dont have any stock, you can call them if you can get it.its a special order. one month wait.
this is my stock.
pro comp 9000 for me is heavy duty, cannot get any available heavy duty than this, monroe is softer than this but they say heavy duty.
i used this pro comp 9000 as this is good & heavy duty shock for me.
no problem at all;
Cheers;

do these shocks your selling come with boots?
I am stable in most situations that I have no reservations in stormy conditions.

Sabbir at MaxOD installed heavy duty Procomps on mine (special order) when I bought it... I am unsure what the model number on the shock is but they came with red boots on them. Likely the same as what Mardy is offering and similarly priced.

When I test drove the van it had the old stock shocks on it - VERY soft - and I figured if replacing anyway, go heavy duty. I feel it made a significant difference in the ride - a little harder but better off road - and once I have time to play with the torsion bars, I'm confident it will be very nimble on-road too, but that's another post...

edit.... okay, Mardy got in there before me while I was writing this. Might be worthwhile to invest in the boots if you are frequently doing any dusty roads... a $12 cost for a set of boots is good insurance.

Hi, thanks, i usually put a shock boot to all my delica. never put it on without the boot. as it create dust & mud towards the shaft.
i dont know which one you got installed, there is 2 type es3000 & es9000 series shock absorber. es3000 is a little bit softer & es9000 is there top of the line. Very good stipper ride for off road.
as you can see in there web site pro comp es9000 series Shock:

I have 9000s on mine. Firm ride but not overly harsh. Great choice for shocks.

Totally agree with Mardy. I bought from NS Offroad on Mardi's recommendation and love these shocks. Improved the ride tremendously. RJD Ent in Nvan installed them and said they were a great product as well. Definitely a heavy duty shock for sure.
Buy these with confidence in my opinion.

Mardy,

Just wondering if these shocks are the part #'s 913515 (front) and 919520 (rear)? If not, what part #'s do you use?

Thanks
