Air conditioning.
Does anyone use it? In the 6/7 years I have had my van I have never charged the a/c unit. It seems like too large a volume of air to be cooled by such a little system. Does it work well? Is it worth having?

Re: Air conditioning.
I like it. It does a great job of cooling in summer, and in winter it keeps the windows fog-free and the interior dehumidified.
I don't know about it being a "little" system- cooling the interior of a 7-person people mover when it's 30C outside isn't exactly trivial, and the system still has enough reserve capacity to run the Super Exceed's cool box.

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Re: Air conditioning.
I gutted my entire AC along time ago. Front and back. There is a lot of junk to pull output but I don't regret it. Makes for more room in the engine bay, less junk up the front. I even stripped the water lines for the rear heater. I like simplicity.
