L400 expansion tank renewal

I've just done a complete service of the L400 I purchased a few weeks ago - I've discovered the expansion tank was from a Vauxhall Zafira!!!
So new one purchased for the old boy... I've hooked up all the visible pipes - but the thin connection on the bottom - where does this hook into ???

Monkeygirl, Did you remove the old tank? You should have had to remove both bottom hoses (and the other two) to get the old one out. Maybe the small one has just fallen out of view.
The two hoses should run to the radiator. I had a quick look at mine. The small hose disappears under the battery tray and I can't see where it connects to without spending more time.

At 3:58 in the video you can see the location of the two hoses which connect to the bottom of the tank.

Cheers for the link - the tank I the vehicle I removed was from a Vauxhall Zafira !!! It had been a temporary fix or botch job by the looks of it - the Zafira tank only had one pipe coming out the bottom 2 from the side (one of these was blanked off the other went to the top of radiator .... I've connected the large pipe at the bottom no problem - the breather pipe from the top and the side pipe to the top of the radiator - will need to do some investigating .... I've just connected a pipe and blanked it off at the moment - thank you :)
