Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

For just a short trip use this as a guideline. :M

Drive it a short distance and feel the tire temperatures. Hot on the outside is toe in. Hot on the inside is toe out. Adjust the tie rods and head to the alignment shop. Don't drive the highway if there's a slower road.
Good luck :-) :-)

Just stopped by at Kal Tire on the Lougheed Hwy in Coquitlam, near the Superstore at Schoolhouse St.

The clerk said they have the latest electronic 4wd alignment machine and charge $114. for a Delica alignment. And a front end specialist. I told him my deli was raised and he said okay... :-)

I'll try them next week when MD is on the road again.

Kal tire didn't have the proper specs for my L400 :-( :-( . I had to ask the counter clerk to send out the mechanic to talk to me. It was very obvious he had a problem and didn't know what to do about it. Slightly expensive tire shop and not a place I recommend for alignments. They did give a coloured printout of their results.

Dale's in Langley is a far more comfortable shop to deal with. They let me come into their shop and carefully explained the problems and gave suggestions for repair. :-) They didn't charge full price when they found issues I needed to repair.

Jason at Dale's explained the alignment machine, pushed on the frame and demonstrated with the changeable readings how level affects the alignment readings. He went over all the suspension components and how they affect alignment and included anecdotes about other 4X4s and their suspension problems.

He also explained the readings on the B&W printout he gave me and sent a copy to my email address. His brother Darryl at the front counter is also very knowledgeable and a colourful character.

Yup, Dales is a hands down winner in this competition :-D :-D .

have fun

Pacific Alignment on Clark drive in Vancouver were very nice to deal with, and apparently they have done alignments on Delica's in the past.
