I've been looking for a brake upgrade for my 96 L300 and have found the info on fitting the Paj/L400/Montero front calipers.
However, I would also like to upgrade to discs on the rear. I have seen some info and, from memory there was a problem with a difference in the oil seals.
A few years ago I replace the rear drum brake system with the later model discs on an Aussie Commodor. The disc mounting plate was a couple of mm thicker than the drum backing plate and required fitting the thicker seals from the disc braked car.
I'm wondering if that is the case here and a simple change of seals would allow them to bolt on...
Does anyone have more info on this?

Re: Rear Disc Brakes
I've not heard about his, but if you figure anything out let us know! I'm definitely checking out the Pajeros next time I'm at the wreckers...
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
