ngk glow plugs

Post by punkrawker »

so.....i looked on the ngk website and for a set of 4 ngk plugs part# 2161 is 76.64 plus shipping 35.01 to a town south of calgary is 111.65. this is the cheapest option i have found so far and is less than half of anywhere else i was quoted so i thought i would pass this along to other fellow delica l300 owners.

I'd be careful with NGK, I put them in my van and they didn't function properly with my ECU, so the van wouldn't start. I tried having the ECU refurbished only to discover it was the plugs, so I wired them into a manual switch, but wished I had bought 12V instead of 6.

If you have 12V and are just looking to replace them, you should be fine.

well no luck getting timing down to call ngk before 3pm here but auto valu in calgary can get a set of 2161 ngk glow plugs in for $174.....even if if i only get a few months out of them its better than not driving the van around and almost 100 bucks cheaper than anywhere else too
