does anyone know the part number for glow plugs in a 91 4d56 engine or have a spare one or two kicking around in the Calgary area by chance??

Re: glow plugs??
Super-quick glow system (clicking from under the seat, no glowplug warning lamp in the dash) is MD092392.
They are a 6.2volt glow plug, and some non-genuine plugs won't work with the super-quick glow computer (It appears the computer measures the resistance of the plugs to determine their temperature- aftermarket glow plugs can have a different resistance, and so the computer doesn't know what's going on)

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Re: glow plugs??
well the previous owner put in a set of 12v plugs and find it kind of odd that so far NONE of the parts stores I have called can trace these plugs even when I give them the number stamped on the glow plug themselves.....am I missing something here?? I know that they are supposed to be 6.4v but the previous owner installed an over ride switch and swapped the 6.4v plugs with 12v plugs. has any other delica owners done this override switch over or have had this done to their van before they purchased it and if so then what plugs are you running?
brand, part # and point of purchase would be great......find it bizarre no one can seem to track down parts with the part number stamped on the part that I wish to replace......

Re: glow plugs??
If there's an override switch, then there's no point installing the original 6.2v plugs (unless you repair the computer and restore the wiring...)
You can just install any 12V glow plug that fits. Factory part number for a 12V glow plug is MD197511, generic part number CP-07
