intermittent no power and cloud of black smoke - fixed

Started getting an intermittent problem. She will be running fine, then suddenly when i press the accelerator nothing happens except a great big cloud of black smoke out of the tailpipe. No power at all. Like, it won't move. Then after a while it goes away and it runs fine again. EGR? Wastegate sticking? I've been running bio in it for half a year, and it has been running fine, but this just started to happen. It starts up smooth with no smoke. This problem only happens when the throttle is pressed. Oh, and i checked the air filter and its clean.

******************fixed! EGR sticking open. Unplugged the EGR and stuck a screw in the tube.
