My starter motor has died, how can I move gear shift without being able to start van?

If its an automatic transmission you only need to place the key into the start position and press the brake pedal. This disengages the shift interlock and you can move the gear shift into neutral.
If its a manual transmission.....push in the clutch pedal down and then move gear shift into neutral.
An automatic transmission can't be 'bump started' like a manual can if you're thinking of trying that to start your Delica.

Auto transmission. Not trying to start it, just need it out of gear to move it.
