Paint Code..??...
Supp folks,,
Anyone know if there's a reference for paint codes?? I have a '93 Super Exceed that's like a teal green... I bought a rear spoiler from someone on here and I want to paint it the same colour. If anyone has any insight on this, I'll be the one thanking you for it.
Cheers, Phil :)

The Delica WIKI has the following: https://www.socialtext.net/delica/paint_codes
It should give you what you want. I've tried the Code for my van and Lordco, a local auto supplier, could make it for me.
Good Luck!

Your paint code is located between your legs as you sit in the driver's seat. Here's a link from the Delica FAQ Section: http://www.delica.ca/forum/l300-vehicle ... -2119.html
Out west is an auto paint supplier called White & Peters, don't think they operate in Ontario but they could read my wagon's paint code. If you find a supplier in Ontario they will be able to take the code from your wagon and make you paint. One thing to remember is paint fades with time. If you are thinking of just doing a little touch up ~ might be worth doing a match.

I did a paint code match in a spray can and found the body colour
had faded a lot. Have a body shop do the painting if you're fussy over a close colour match.

It's already painted and mounted too. It looks sweet and I had no issues installing it with the Terzo ladder on there as well. So it's official.. I'm now an accessory junky!! I'll post some pics when I figure out how to do it

Re: Paint Code..??...
We have a "photo gallery" on the site (|photo| button upper right of this page) that you can load your picture files into and link from, which would be the optimum choice. Or you could link from off site galleries, in which case you can take direction from the thread just below the thread where you discovered the paint code, in the Delica FAQ Section ( How to upload/display your own photos). A third option is to load the files directly from your computer into the thread itself, as an attachment. The problem with this is it can slow the loading of the thread for some people who do not have fast systems (such as people on the road in a small shop that still uses dial-up internet), which can time out their link to DC.philmeup1 wrote:... . Hey Falco, are you talking about the spot where there is a question mark with the word photo beside it?? Sorry but I'm a bit technically declined here.... I clicked on that part of the page but couldn't seem to find anything that would allow me to upload photos....

Re: Paint Code..??...
As it happens... I'm a digital immigrant, as well. Yes, that is the button. I'm afraid I don't have the time to type out a step by step right now, I have to go paint something. Take a good look at each page, it should give direction. You need to create a folder for which to up load your pictures and the pictures can only be so big. Later, when I have more time I'll do a step by step, if no one else has.philmeup1 wrote:Hey Falco, are you talking about the spot where there is a question mark with the word photo beside it?? Re: Paint Code..??...
That's cool, I'll poke around with the direction you've given me. I'm sure I'll figure it out now I'm heading in the right direction....
