Hey guys. I've been investigating the mysterious loss of power to my headlights. The way I remember it one dim went, then the other. I did some cleaning up on terribly corroded wire clips at the headlight and testing showed that if supplied with positive direct from battery the lights work. So grounds are good. I then tested for power at the plug-ins for the headlight ass. and found that there is no positive power reaching them either.
I guess my question is how do I access the switch to test if the switch is a dud? I think i'd rather do that than trace all the wiring...
Thanks so much for your suggestions friends!

Check in Delica Canada Technical » FAQ & Technical Reference Libraries » L300 Dedicated Category Reference Forum. Look under "Body Electric" for the L300 Combo Switch thread. Could be helpful. In my experience with the combo switch I have found that the major issue is probably greasy dust build up leading to shorting circuits that fry connexions.
Regarding the corroded wire clips at the headlight, are these a bridge from the after market "daytime running lights"? If so ~ would recommend disconnecting them and resealing the wire with shrink wrap.
Falco.

Oh my God that is genius! I've never even been in the Faq and technical reference library. Major kudos to whoever set that up! And thank YOU Falco for such a helpful response!
I'm gonna read that thread now
Oh, and no, it's not wired DRL. I think it's just original wiring. Although who knows my van seems to be a bit of a Frankenbishi.
