L300 crystal lite rear cabin flourescent to leds

hi all, ive been trying to replace the crappy flourescent tube in the back of my l300 and have spent some time reading this thread http://www.mdocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopi ... c&start=90 but ball the instructions are for the l400 and the circuit board, dimmer switch etc are different from the l300. has anyone with a l300 managed to change to leds? and if so can you give me any advice or have any pictures?.
i have spent hours messing about with it but can only get the led i am working with to stay on, it wont switch on and off with the switch. any help would be greatly appreciated. also forgot to add the rear roof blinds are also connected by a wire to the light circuit board in the l300.

Check pg 3 of my post. All I did was cut the wires going into the bi pin connector and used those to connect to my LED strips.
