Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

Engine Replacement

Post by Ender-Beeshi »

The timing chain in my L400 skipped and tore apart the engine.

I'm looking at the possibility of sourcing a replacement engine. Anyone have any leads/suggestions?

I have a 1994 L 400 SWB with the 5sp manual. I managed to partially roll it, but the drive train and chassis is still in good working order. I haven't decided whether to part it out or repair the body damage. It has a 4m40t with 87 k on the clock.

The only real issue is that I am on the East Coast. I can ship it if someone wants it now, or part it out but that will take some time.

If you are interested, we can talk, if not I would look for a salvage engine from a wrecked delica. Adam.
