How many Delicas have you spotted today?
While I patiently await the good folk at Coombs Country Auto to finish doing what they do with my beautiful Chamonix, I'm still champing at the bit, such is my excitement. I can't help myself but look around to see how many Delicas I come across on a given day. Last week, I saw no fewer than 12 in a single day, just driving in and around the Comox Valley. Today, though, saw only two, a pair of L400s.
So...how many Delicas have you spotted today?

I haven't spotted one around here in months (like many months). We exist around here like the Sasquatch. There might even be some grainy black and white footage of me driving around here, but it was clearly faked as you can see my wristwatch. I did get a wave from a RHD Land Rover today though.

And here in Ontario, I saw one in Prince Edward County back in August while camping in that area. I'm guessing that will be the only one I see this year........ Unless of course, I go out to the driveway and look at mine, lol

I bet that was the same one I saw earlier this year. I have not seen a Delica other than my own near me (Apart from my own and from Visiting Victoria) in almost a year now.
I saw a white L400 on the very last day I was able to drive mine!

It was in Washington State, one of the Suburbs South of Seattle. Male Driving, and Female passenger, If memory serves, white High-roof, with white bullbars - we did the Delica Wave to each other, my Wife was my passenger. My L400 is Green over Grey.mrraulduke wrote:You saw a white l400 over a year ago in the states? Where did you spot it? I wonder if it was me.

It's a lonely Deli day for me. Only one spotted, a white L400 right here on base.

Update! I saw a L300 on a side street near the Griffon Pub. So that makes two for the day.RadarGrrl wrote:It's a lonely Deli day for me. Only one spotted, a white L400 right here on base.

And THAT is why I am keeping my Deli and modifying it over time, until I can drive in on-road in Feb 2019!mrraulduke wrote:Nope... not me. I was on the coast. I did burn down to olympia from p.a. I have never had so much attention to a van as I did down there.

The only one I've seen was in Bloomfield. My buddy and me followed him home right to his driveway to say hello.

There's a white L300 I see around T.O., I've even managed to say hello once!! She didn't seem as excited to see another Delica as I was... Also, there's another white L300 with BC plates around town right now too. I've been here for over two years now and I've seen a total of 3 or 4 Delicas.philmeup1 wrote:The only one I've seen was in Bloomfield.
