Hello from Ontario, soon to be a VanIslander
Hello all..
I don't yet have my first Delica, but I was on VanIsle last week in preparation for my forthcoming move to Comox. I was already familiar with them, as there's at least one in this area. But on the Island, they seem to be everywhere! I have totally fallen in love with them, as they seem to be a very durable, flexible and practical little truck. My current ride is going to expire soon after I arrive, and I'll be looking for new way to get around, and a Delica would seem to be about as west-coastish as one can get. I'll be having a good look around this place, and I'll have questions.
In fact, the first one popped into my head...what on earth is meant by the Crystal Lite roof?

I swear I've seen at least one cruising around the Trenton area.

In just under five weeks, I take up residence on the Island, and I can finally start looking for the perfect Delica. I am so looking forward to it.

Looks like we're now neighbours, and we'll soon be driving similar vehicles. My ride-to-be, sitting at CCA getting brought up to their high standards, is also a 1998 Chamonix.

@ Macro: I did confirm that other Deli in the Trenton area. A gentleman in Bloomfield, in Prince Edward County, was driving an L300.
