Monroe's are generally quite inexpensive, but still pretty good shocks I hear. I need to replace mine soon, do you mind saying how much they cost?Shaun Van Ramen wrote:SvR got new Monroe Shocks thank to John at RMI (Van. Is.).

I love the monroes, been on my L300 for 4 years (prior to that went thru a Procomp 6000 and a 9000). Glen at Coombs Country recommended and installed them (they are yellow, named something strong perhaps Extreme or Heavy Duty or something, too lazy to go outside to check. Christine.

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
He has them listed on his website. $85-$94 / front-rear. No pics but he stocks the Monroes. I could have gotten them cheaper at Lordco - But as most here know they have a Deli-tude. I rather pay more to someone who cares than get them cheaper.nxski wrote:Monroe's are generally quite inexpensive, but still pretty good shocks I hear. RMI may be able to price match if you do your homework.

I put the rack on the roof. Realized that the rain gutters arch, they aren't parallel to the rest of the vehicle.

Same for me. I don't know if I totally dig how my van looks with the rack.... makes it look too tall I think.Firesong wrote:I put the rack on the roof. Realized that the rain gutters arch, they aren't parallel to the rest of the vehicle.
On another note, I got a new full exhaust. 2.5" stainless from the turbo through a small Magnaflow and out the back with a 3" chrome tip. Sounds AWESOME.

Thanks! They're Ultra Wheel Nomads
http://www.ultrawheel.com/wheel_detail. ... d=1&id=212
I had a hell of a time finding the right ones but found an awesome tire shop here in Toronto that got them in for me along with 31x10.5 Duratracs. The rims are 15x8, 3 3/4" backspacing. They will (hopefully) be a perfect fit AND match the grey across the bottom of the van to boot.

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Finally, after many years of sub-par audio, I put new speakers into the passenger and driver side door!!! Turns out the old speakers had their wires cut, which explains why they never have worked. They were also completely disintegrated. Disconnected the crappy little 4" speakers out from under the dash, because all they did was rattle and buzz, easy to replace but...that's another project. Used http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/spr-60 had to drill some holes in the plastic casing, but got these bad boys to fit under the stock grill. now my 3 year old son can listen to his favourite Black Sabbath song: IRON MAN! really really loud!!

In modern war... you will die like a dog for no good reason.

Argh!!! I forgot about those. I guess we'll see! If they don't I guess I'll have to go to manual locking hubs just so they look sweet hahahaCREGAN wrote:
Those are pretty! Sweet, that is. I hope the center caps fit over the stupid font hubs though.
