Trade/sell 1965 VW bus for Delica?

Hi,

l have a silver '65 VW bus for sale or trade for a Delica. It's in great shape and has an amazing engine (2010cc dual carbs Weber 40's. Engine built by Fat Performance in California). Also has new tranny and lots of other new parts (full suspension, brakes, muffler, remote oil cooler...) The interior is semi-camperized with bed and cabinets. The body has been redone in 2003 (no bondo).

I'd be asking a little over $9000 for a straight sale (engine and tranny alone worth over $7000) or would be giving money back for a good Delica with crystal roof.

There was a time in my life that this was a dream vehicle for me. My first car was a 71 VW Kombi, and I lived practically the first 3 years of my life in a 70 Kombi. I always wanted a split window van. Then I bought a Toyota, which I have to say I loved, now the Delica, which should be even better yet.

Great to see that there are beautiful vintage VW's out there still.
