freeish parking in vancouver?

so we are headed to mexico for a week!! and need to find some where to park so we dont have to pay the ridiculous airport parking fees, we were hoping to find some free, relatively safe parking close to the sky train. any thoughts or suggestions. any one have an abundance of street parking near them? any and all suggestions appreciated

Any of the stations between Broadway City Hall and Marine Drive have street parking nearby.

probably be easier to find long term free parking in richmond then in van.

That depends on who's house you park in front of. I find it easier to park in Vancouver over Richmond but there are spots in Richmond too.
