Thermostat .. Canadian Tire/Napa part number

As the title says.. I'm looking for the thermostat part number at Cdn Tire or Napa. Did some searching here and couldn't find it. On a previous post it was mentioned that the Stant part number listed on the Wiki was wrong..

I see three choices..

Google Stant and search their catalogue (or)

Search out the mitsubishi part number on this site and buy it through the source listed.
Pm me if you need help with searching the part number (or)

Buy it locally through a Delica dealer or parts distributor.

Anyone else have a better idea chime in

Hi,
I've searched the Stant webpage for compatible thermostats or Canadian dealers.. no joy.
I have the Mitsu number (I think) and I could order from someone on the Wet Coast but they're expensive especially when I have to factor in shipping too. I live in northern Manitoba so there's nobody local I can go to.

I'm sure somebody somewhere has bought one at Canadian Tire or Napa. I'm sure it's a relatively generic part.. hell it's probably an older Dodge part.

I have a Stant thermostat in my hand and the Cat. # 13398. It's rated @ 180 deg.F which I would think is great for summer but I'm not so sure about winter which is why it is still in the box instead of my van.

Does the box have the thermostat dimensions on it? I'm going through the Napa page.. if I can find one with the same dimensions it'll have to work.. right?

If you have the chance can you fire off the full part number listed on the box? I'll find something compatible eventually.

I have those numbers from the wiki.. but unless I can cross reference them with something Cdn Tire/ Napa has those numbers don't help.

If you have the OEM number then the supplier should be able to cross reference it. Lordco is good for doing that. That's what all those books on the parts counter are for.

NAPA 33188 or the 1905F degree which I just installed. I think it's 33199. They'll know!

The problem sometimes with being up north is that alot of these places don't have the books to crossreference stuff.. or if they do have the info they dont seem to know how to use it.

It has been a few times now where I go to find a part at one of these stores and because they cant find the van in their computer they're totally lost. Hence why I needed an actual part number for a particular store/brand.

On a new note, has anyone ever upgraded their cabin fan? Mine seems to be pretty weak.

I have a nice toasty van now :)
I keep a huge list of Delica part#'s on the notepad in my phone. The Deli Wiki has some good info; mostly correct.
