Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Replacing the 3 pod cluster on my L300 Super Exceed

Post by Jonny5ive »

My 3 pod cluster has somehow broken off the bracket. I either find a new one and replace it or I mod out the area it used to sit.

So, 2 questions for you guys... Anyone out there have any ideas as to what would be a cool mod for replacing the 3 pod cluster? I was thinking something like an ipad mounting thing or... well I have no idea.

Or, anyone know where I can buy a new cluster and mounting hardware?

Cheers

Cheapest way would be to use a few self-tapping screws to through the bracket behind the trim to hold it firmly in place.

there are Tons of mounting brackets of many different styles to secure an IPad from around $20+ online.
Lots of people are custom fitting Ipads into the dash these days. But this brings distracted driving to a whole new level when you are driving down the highway having a video chat with someone.

My android tablet goes on the windshield, but I also have a vent mount I havent managed to fit yet.

The tablet plays music via a builtin fm transmitter btw, and also does satnav duties, take it out at home for surfing and ebooks!
