Hello fellow mit van owners!
I understand this part of the site is for L300 but i could not find anywhere else to go
I can not find anyone with a OBD1 scanner in a 30 mile radius!
I have replaced the catylitc and all filters..
Throttle position sensor perhaps?
computer?
fuel pump relay?
HELP! any help would be great

Most likely fuel pump, if it sits for a bit then will it run again?
Measure it twice, cut once. Dam still cut wrong

The LS ~ this is a Mitsu Vanwagon from the States, no? We have a section dedicated to the Vanwagon. Let me know if this is the case and I'll move the thread to the Vanwagon forum.
You have a 4G6 engine, correct? We have manuals in the L300 Dedicated Reference Library in Delica Canada Technical if that helps.

Fuel pump, possibly.
Fuel system vent, as in it's not. Sometimes opening the fuel cap will correctly identify this one.
There is too little information given to properly fault-find. More details required. OBD 1 readout can be just as useless because of its limited number of diagnostic codes, most of which were for emission control not actual engine component/system monitoring.

The local expert on the USA Vanwagon model (sold in 1989/1990 in usa) and Mitsubishi gasoline engines is Glen at Coombs Country Autos on Vancouver Island. Dad Graham answers the phones 1 - 250 -954-2157, Monday to Friday 8 to 5. Perhaps you could pay by visa for some telephone troubleshooting time with Glen, it would be well worth it as he is a suburb mechanic.
They also ship parts anywhere, new or used, and they test the used parts before they are sent. Good Luck, christine.
