A/C woes

Post by legionnair »

Well went to turn on the a/c today sitting in traffic and nothing. So drove home and started looking about 10min later I came to the conclusion the refridgerant leaked out. So I am going to jam in some redtek try to find the leak if it is a minor will fix if it is a major then the Air compressor project will commence with the A/C electric fan put on a switch for extra cooling power on hot slow days. Will be about a week before the answer is clear keep in touch.

Right now not much to see just a skeleton or angle iron. Trying to get my hands on a CVT Mt. Hood. I am going to put its skin on half checker plate half plastic sheet. Then the fun of building the out side kitchen and solar charger, propane fridge. Etc.. winter long project.

I will post pics and start a build thread when I am a bit further along. It based on a 4x8 ATV trailer, with the angle skeleton I can easily lift one side off the ground by the fender. So I hope when done not loaded will be about 1000lbs.
