Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

Where to get L400 fuel injectors

Post by northriver »

Hi,

I want to replace the fuel injectors (referred to as fuel injection nozzles in the shop manual) on my L400 delica.
Does anybody know the part # for these items or where they can be purchased?
I am sure this has been asked before, but I have searched the forum and have not found anything.

Thanks,

Chris

I bought mine at Rising Sun for the Pajero but when I called the other parts suppliers, all of them had injectors in stock.

Since you already contacted all the dealers and parts suppliers before posting here you may only find used injectors from others members unless someone is hording a new set.

Part numbers here Sir = http://www.delica.ca/forum/injector-exchange-12486.html

Thanks for the reply!

From a post in the above-listed thread ...

What is the OEM part numbers for the two motors?

OEM injectors are made by Zexel

Part numbers:

4D56 (mechanical injection) - Zexel PDN 130#
4M40 (mechanical injection) - Zexel PDN 129#
4M40 (electronic injection) - Zexel PDN 135#
I phoned up a local diesel injection shop (Thompson Valley Diesel Injection) and he eventually referenced the replacement tip for a Zexel PDN 129 as part # 105007-1290. ($80.00 per tip and about $100 shop labour to replace the tips).

If you have time and source, "re-nozzling" is ok........ if not, new from ebay.uk is similar in price............ and well, NEW!

There have been other threads on this, searching seems to be an "art" vice and acquired skill........ that and lots of tries..........

Cheers!
