As a former Delica owner, I've had some experience ordering parts.
Mitsubishi Delica parts cannot be purchased in Canada, but are readily available through dealers in Japan, the UK, and Australia.

I would also strongly encourage you to visit the UK Mitsubishi Delica Owners Club web site, which contains lots of great information on Delica ownership. http://www.mdocuk.co.uk/

Delica Parts
Hi,
I guess I am member #3. Great to see the beginning of a Canadian group. I don't know why there are not more members. I keep on seeing Delicas weekly.
I still do not have a Delica yet but am actively searching to buy a Deleica or 7 Pas Pajero from a trustworthy importer. I have read a quite a bit about them both on the UK and Aussie/Kiwi boards.
As with most Japanese auto makers, I think you will find that parts can be found from their North American counter parts. For the Pajero, most equivalent parts can be found from the Montero. The turbo diesel should also be able to be cross-referenced from the 1980s Dodge D50 and Ford Ranger. Both had a slightly altered 4D55 in them.
I just had my last part sourcing concern put to rest and that was concerning auto glass. With the winter sand (AKA rocks) laid down to keep those people driving with all season radials, windshields get broken often. I had to get some glass last week to replace a window my kids broke playing soccer, so asked if they could get glass for a Delica. They told me they would not have it in stock but can source glass for it no problem. It just might cost ICBC a bit more money.
I'll let you know when I get my new vehicle. If it is a Pajero, perhaps you might add the Pajero oweners to the group?
Have a good day,
John

As a owner of a slightly modified Delica I have had no problems getting parts. Just do a search on one of the other Delica Forums for parts and you'll be amazed what you find.
The last thing I ordered was brake pads, I just ordered Mitsubishi front brake pads for a 1990 and they are a perfect fit. Didn't need them cause the existing pad are in super shape, and the disks looked new at 96,000km. The Delica is one of the best built vehicles I have ever worked on. Local part stores have been able to source everything so far, fingers crossed here.
Body parts, glass and Interior hardware, now that's another story. The more Delica owners we get, sadly the more parts vehicles available (can you say crash). There currently is wreaked Delica's in Van and Gabriela.

Ok got this info off the Delica Club site, I tell yeah, I sure favor those aussie's forum. Any time I have asked them a question they answer in-mass and are so nice!
This link is a engine breakdown for a Pajero, and comparing it to my Delica manual it's spot on for the 2.5 engine. Very cool, if we had a download section it's a must to be kept there - great reference. (Mark ? :) )
