Re: L400 Hitch installed
Here's a picture of under the van. I cannot say that it is the most reliable mounting, but for what i'm gonna use my trailler for, I think it's enough. I use 1/4" thick metal and 1/2" grade bolt. I also attach a braket to the bumper mounting. I did'n drill any new holes on the van, I use t...

L400 Hitch installed
I just installed a hitch on my L400. I took and old hitch originally use on a GMC pick-up truck, modified it and fit it to my L400 with some bolts and brakets. Look nice and make the van much more usefull by being able to use a trailler!

Re: L400 fuel consumption
Maybe I have an answer for my fuel consumption. I realize monday by the smell of heaten brake that both of my front calipers where stuck. I lifted the truck and wasn't even able to spin the well by hand. Today I fixed the problem by changing all boots and seals of the calipers(bought parts from Mits...

I don't agree with this guy too. I bought 2 vehicules at silkroad and was satisified each time. Silkroad work for you to find the vehicule you are looking for. Each vehicule I bought there was what I agreed on, the price and mechanical condition ( If I ask for no oil leak for example the vehicule wa...

Re: L400 fuel consumption
Thanks everyone for your advices. I was just wondering that with a 65 litres fill, It was not a excellent consumption. And by reading a few thread on this site ( I saw someone saying he did 550 km per fill) I thought there was something wrong with it. And to answer the Mr. Pistachio (Antoine) questi...

L400 fuel consumption
Hi folks, I'm new here with my 1995 L400. I'm wondering if my fuel consumption is correct. I did a 430 km with a full diesel tank. I read a few topic in this forum and it seem that 430 km is not good enough. My Egr valve is already blanked. I read some other topics saying that changing the injection...

Re: ** UPDATED ** Delica Dealer / Importer Ratings and Feedb
Sure positive for Silkroad. I just got a L400 register here in Quebec porvince. The process of registering was so long because it all began in 2009. But Karim was 100% always cooperative with the issues that Quebec was asking during all this long process. And when you deal with Silkroad, the best th...
