Re: Trip to Bridge Lake BC (Southern Cariboo)

These are pretty good towing vehicles, as long as the weight is limited and the driving is measured. Slower and steady, might be another way to word it. That being said, we towed our trailer to the top of Kootenay Pass (1775 m) in our ol' L300, so I imagine an L400 would have little trouble. I'm it...

Re: Trip to Bridge Lake BC (Southern Cariboo)

That is some serious fishin'! Thanks for sharing the pics! We don't have a place on the lake. I bought some property up there a few weeks ago that is not too far away from the lake. It has a little cabin and some RV type sites on it. I'll get serious about fishing next year when I bring up my boat a...

Trip to Bridge Lake BC (Southern Cariboo)

I was concerned that pulling a trailer full of gear along with the four of us might be too much for the little van. We made it all the way there (1250 meters above sea level) and back without issue. The trailer rocked a bit at high speeds over bumps, but was otherwise fine. Some of the hills slowed ...

PWR HOLD usage

I am having trouble finding posts related to the use of the a/t switch in my l400. I imagine there has been some discussion around the topic in the past as to when to use each of these modes. I have frustrated myself trying to find something and I wonder if someone can summarize when to use each of ...

Re: Collective noun?

Could it be possible that the plural is Delica and the singular should be Delicum? As far as a group of Delicas a drove seems most fitting. : ) What do we call Delica owners/keepers? Delicists? Delicitarians? Delicists? Also, how do you pronounce Delica? is it like Del-ee-ka, like Selica? Or Del-i-c...

New owner.....many questions.

Hi, I am a new Delica owner and new to this site. I have owned my l400 for just over a week now and I have a few questions I hope someone can help to answer. At the rear left hand side interior there is a compartment that is empty on my vehicle. It has a velcro strap that looks like it held somethin...
