auto locks continuously locking...again!

My van, L400 1995, has auto locks that work remotely except the driver door does respond. The driver door still works 100% manually and will lock/unlock all doors from the one location, with key. Is there a sensor for this door other than the door switch? Which seems to work fine as it still reacts ...

Re: Roof rack for a 95 L400 Spacegear?

Rack Attack does offer a pricey solution to getting a rack on a L400. $515 for the Thule 953.
The 8" clearance is $85 dollars cheaper than the 11" one. Does anyone have experience with either? Has anyone blown a rain gutter out with 11" of leverage?

Re: Headlight sprayers....

Are the Pajero's and the L400's the same layout for pump location? I've tried to locate the pump and I'm not sure if I am seeing two horns or two pumps? Does each sprayer have its own pump?
This does seem like a unnecessary feature but if its there it may as well work.

Re: Central Locks, continuously locking?

hmmm, I did notice that exactly(top and bottom were compressed). Wasn't sure if that was the problem or not.
Pulling all five out on the plastic base seems to have fixed the continuous locking though and the locking of the sidedoor.
I also added some dialectric grease when buffing up the contacts.

Re: Central Locks, continuously locking?

Thanks for all the tips. I tried cleaning the contacts in the sliding door and found the five pins that compress when the door is closed are on a plastic piece that also can be moved in and out to make a proper connection. This fixed the problem of the sliding door locking with the other locks and I...

Central Locks, continuously locking?

Hi, I am driving a '95 L400 and the power central locks do there thing within the first 10 seconds of being in drive, then they will continue to lock at what seem to be 2-3 minute intervals. Has anyone else had this problem? Another power locking issue I have with the van is the sliding door is no l...
