JohnT: My van was an auto. unless i'm very much mistaken, there was nothing else apart of the brake system.
OT. I'd get the lines replaced as they have probably never been done, I think I caused my problem after twisting the lines a bit while changing rotors up front.

so I put new injectors in today... no change!! so frustrating.
I think I'll have to get it into the mechanic and get the timing and balance belt checked out.
I am really getting to the end of the list with what this could be

He stated that thee vibration is present at idle and when parked so that eliminates the driveline as a possible source. I did manage to get my hands on a pdf version of the motor manual for this engine.....I'll check it see if 'trouble shooting' is in there. thanks for all the help! really apprecia...

thanks for the thoughts guys. I did an engine swap with exactly the same (4d56t) bought an unregistered van and pulled it out and did the swap. pretty stock just better condition than mine. I have an aftermarket air filter on at the moment but have a new standard one to go in this weekend. I don't t...

so after 3 days and a nice big bill I now have brakes again. All the flexy brake lines were replaced and the whole system reflushed and all is good. I hate expensive, unexpected problems!!

cars been in the shop for 2 days now and getting all the flexi lines replaced incase of bulging, mechanic is stumped everything has been tested.

I did it with a helper pumping and topping up the fluid as I controlled the bleed nipple. working from furthest away to closest to the brake. total mystery It's in the shop now and even they are having trouble sourcing the problem. Very interested to find out what the problem is. thanks for the help...

how did you bleed it? try with the engine on and start from the rear left (passenger side), then rear right (driver's side), then front left and lastly front right. That's the correct order. If done in a different order, air pockets can develop and cause exactly what you are describing. I'm assumin...

Hi Guys. like most delicas my brakes weren't great but still worked so I thought it was time to change the pads, easy hassle free you say, I wish. changed the pads no problems there, bleed the system, sweet. check the pedal.... squishes to the floor! wtf. So check all the brakes and re-bleed.. still...

I know there are a few posts on here regarding colour codes for the L300's and I have ben through all those but my van has had sound deadener. carpet etc stuck over the codes and was wondering if anyone know s the code i need for a white delica l300 high roof.
