Re: please help troubleshoot!
I've gotten all the air out of the coolant. I'll start it cold to find out what heats first. When there were air bubbles in the line I saw them travel from the cold side at the bottom of the HE to the hot high side. high and low being a difference of inches.

Re: please help troubleshoot!
Hi,
Ya i removed the pump and it ran better but didn't solve the problem of surging and stalling. pretty sure the problem is oil temp. The heat exchanger only achieves about 110f. And the coolant leaving the exchanger is hotter! than the coolant going in?!?!?

Re: stalling engine while on wvo or while purging
I have cleared out the lines for the WVO side and have also increased my idle speed to about 500-600 RPM. The WVO does not stall out now at any time. It still starts very rough when I park a short while in wvo (engine Hot still). I am still getting a stall when I am in purge or just starting Diesel...

Re: New! new! newbies
Thanks for the warm welcome. Things are going good with the wheels and i think we've worked out the kinks in the WVO system although we're getting a little black smoke on start up with the WVO and some throbbing during early idling. We're hoping this will work itself out on our first big road trip. ...
